Dexdign Ltd is a Kenyan based firm offering services in Architectural and Interior Design consultancy. Despite our diversity in array of clientele our professional approach to any architectural commissions is never compromised. Each commission receives the same meticulous performance approach ensuring that the end design product has the same ‘Dexdign’ touch. During the whole design stage, we are in contact with our clients, accommodating their ideas and suggestions while offering expert opinion on the best design alternatives. This approach to design commissions has served us quite well over the years and has eliminated the client alienation factor from the finished design. This design approach and philosophy assists clients in formulating environmentally responsible solutions of a special quality that maximizes the site potential within budget and time criteria.

Dexdign believes that architecture has a dual presence. A building is measured by materials, methods of construction and engineering. Architecture is measured in the context of the community it serves and is judged by the spaces it creates. It should be a source of inspiration, comfort and enjoyment for all. About Our Team
Our team comprises of Technical and support staff. The team is headed by a Lead Architect, who is BORAQS registered architect with over 22 years of experience. The technical team comprises of registered architects, Graduate architects, Interior Designers and architectural technicians. We are motivated by architectural innovation, where we bring our diverse expertise together to collaborate on work.
Each project begins by selecting the right expertise to get the perfect ‘super team’ for successful deliver of the design. A broad range of disciplines come together in any of our projects depending on the nature of the architectural work. Some of the common disciplines we partner with are; resource management strategies, Change management initiatives, model making, digital technologies, landscape architecture, sustainable design initiatives, urban planning and Interior design. The typical team that you will need on an Architectural project is; The Quantity Surveyors, The Structural engineers, The Mechanical Engineers, The Electrical Engineers.

We can give an estimated outline cost once your brief is fully developed and we have looked at the complexities of the site and the level of finish required. From our experience, we can outline the costs of construction based on other similar spaces and the current cost of construction per square meter. If you need total cost certainty, we can involve a Quantity Surveyor
That’s a difficult one to answer, as I don’t want to offend any past or current clients, I’ll be tactful and say they all have exciting elements!
Above all, we are an architecture firm that designs buildings or spaces within buildings. In many cases, we don’t just make the design, but we also assume responsibility for project management and construction management. We ensure that our designs are realized in accordance with the quality, schedule and budget requirements specified by our customers.
In addition to architectural design, we are often asked to do interior design. We are happy to work with you and your team to create a style guide, identify colors and materials, or completely furnish your space. And we are fully in our element when we can provide the building with context by designing the landscape around it.
After the initial consultation we will liaise with you to ensure that you are completely satisfied and we will assess your ideas to develop a client brief. This will include a design concept which will explore the use and layout for the building as well as fixing your budget and construction timescales. The concept sketches will be used to develop the Detailed Design which will be prepared in CAD.
We tend to be more in touch with the things that make our operation different, such as what we distinctively have to offer clients and employees, what we stand for, and what we hope to accomplish with our work. In other words, we know what we are good at.
